} Grays is the big town in the borough & one authority of Thurrock to the east of London.

London Road is the highway which links Grays town centre by using Lakeside Shopping Centre and Purfleet.

Local web sites of interest include a Thameside Theatre & a Thurrock History Museum. A ancient local manor of Grays Thurrock was a seat of a noble home of Grey, whose virtually all senior highborn branch was headed from either the early 13th century per Baron Grey of Codnor.

From either a top of Bridge Road around Grays professional people potty look down to Thurrock boat club, Grays beach childrens playground & a River Thames where you may from time to time view big containership travelling higher & down. Bridge Road is besides at home to the front yard's local eleven, Grays Athletic F.C., who play in the Football Conference.
